Example Events

Here are some events our affinity group might engage in throughout the semester to build connections and foster a supportive environment:

Coffee Chats at Local Bookstore: Meet other students who have similar interests and discuss life at UNC.

Movie Nights: Screenings of LGBTQIA-themed movies followed by group discussions and snacks.

Conversations with LGBTQ Staff and Community: Inviting guest speakers for insightful discussions.

Painting Activities: Creative sessions to express ourselves.

Outdoor Gatherings: Hiking trips, picnics, or group outings to parks.
